The Challenge

MightyScout, an influencer lookup, insights, and contact management platform, operated without formal product analytics. Leadership couldn’t confidently answer how users navigated from landing pages to signups, which onboarding actions correlated with activation or monetization, where trial experience drop-offs occurred, or which features drove the most value. They needed a structured KPI framework tied to user behavior, comprehensive funnel tracking, actionable dashboards, and a PostHog configuration supporting experimentation scaling.

What We Did

Initial work focused on aligning stakeholders on critical metrics and lifecycle KPIs across five growth levers: acquisition, activation, monetization, engagement, and churn.

The team then mapped the complete user journey from demo requests through trial experiences to in-app feature usage. A detailed PostHog tracking plan defined key events, properties, and traits for meaningful interactions, which was implemented and validated for accuracy.

Adasight partnered closely with MightyScout to define specific product and growth questions the dashboards should answer, then built PostHog dashboards displaying conversion funnels, feature usage depth by persona, onboarding drop-off trends, and churn risk indicators.

The Results

MightyScout gained a defined KPI framework spanning the complete lifecycle, with 30+ events mapped and validated across all touchpoints. Dashboards surfaced actionable conversion, onboarding, and retention insights. Trial-to-paid conversion tracking was enabled with optimization opportunities identified, and the team received a scalable analytics foundation supporting future experimentation and growth initiatives.
